The Gulf of Thailand has a number of quality dive sites that can be comfortably dived all year round. Most of the dive sites are near Koh Tao and can be dived from Koh Samui as full day tours.
The journey to the dive sites around Koh Tao takes about 1.5 hours. What makes the dive sites so interesting is the biodiversity of the underwater world.
Diving at Sail Rock:
The Sail Rock is only about 1 hour away from Koh Samui. Big groupers, schools of barracudas or feather mouse and often whale sharks are not uncommon here. Sail Rock can be seen as “The Dive Site” in the Gulf of Thailand.
