Diving Season
You can scuba dive in Koh Samui and Koh Tao all year round, but the best conditions are from March to August.
September to November brings the Northeast monsoon winds, which then regularly cause waves. Visibility is reduced by around 30%. It is very rare that diving trips are cancelled due to bad weather conditions, but the speedboat ride can be a little bumpy.
November to February is quite windy and humid but at the same time the shark is often seen around Koh Tao at this time of year.
